Graphite tape

Graphite tape is woven with expanded graphite wire on a special knitting machine. It has excellent high temperature resistance and flexibility, but also has a certain strength. In order to increase the sealing strength, the sealing performance can also be improved by placing metal wires in the braided graphite belt. Ideal substitute for asbestos fireproof cloth and flame isolation cloth in metallurgical industry, can also be used as the coiling of expansion joint and filler for valve stem and slurry rod. At the same time, it can also be used as the sealing gasket of furnace door. Its performance exceeds asbestos belt in all aspects.

Performance characteristics:
· Strip gasket, with no length limitation, is often used in vessels and flanges, especially in situations with uneven surface and high temperature and high pressure, such as gasket changer, boiler, pipe, furnace door, box cover and so on. Strip gaskets are far more convenient to install than traditional cut gaskets and are very flexible.
· Time saving, money saving, because there is no waste of scraps, its cost is much lower than other cutting gaskets, with a small number of some specifications can replace a large number of cutting gaskets and plate inventory, simple installation, no complex templates and cutting tools.
Applicable medium:
Hot water, high temperature, high pressure, steam, heat exchange medium, ammonia, hydrogen, organic solvents, hydrocarbons, cryogenic liquids, etc.

Application scope:
· Graphite braided tape is often used as a fire-proof material in place of traditional asbestos fire-proof cloth and tape.
· Emergency measures for on-site repair: use pumps, valves and static and static seals as fillers
